1. WHY THE NAME “MORTAL KOMBAT 1” ?

Mortal Kombat 1 is not a direct sequel to any previous Mortal Kombat game. Instead, it’s a reboot of the franchise, featuring a new timeline and story. The game’s title “1” infers that this is a new beginning, which further shows that this games is the first game in the new timeline. This perfectly fits with the MO of the game developers which have allowed the game to stay relevant and liked by the gamers for extended period of time.

NOW, WHAT IS “MORTAL KOMBAT 1”?

Mortal Kombat 1, the upcoming installment in the popular fighting game series, brings several notable differences compared to previous versions.

EDITIONS: Mortal Kombat 1 will be released in three different editions: Standard, Premium, and Kollector’s Edition. Each edition offers varying content and bonuses.

Kameo Fighters: The Kameo Fighters are a unique and select few number of partner characters that players can choose from to assist them during ongoing matches. These characters are separate from the playable charcaters and serve as NPC allies that can be called upon for support.
Assisting During Matches: The specific protocol of how the Kameo Fighters assist in matches is not revealed yet. However, it is mentioned that players can call in help from these NPC allies, similar to systems seen in games like Marvel Vs Capcom.
Expanded Gameplay Possibilities: The inclusion of the Kameo Fighters is a sure change which will give every gamer to think and strategies to overall enhance combat experience. This does provide some grit to the new take which MORTAL KOMBAT franchise is promising to deliver to the fans this year.
